Ad-savvy young people market Make Space for Health modules

cameraThe EAT, MOVE and FEEL activity modules have taken steps towards appearing on the small screen with the help of a group of young people from the South East.

The group designed a marketing strategy and then filmed adverts aimed at promoting the use of the modules to youth workers, with the help of media non-profit organisation Imagine You Can.

It was part of a week of singing, dancing, marketing, journalism and filming workshops for pupils aged 11 to 17 from across Dartford run by Imagine You Can. The week culminated in a live 20 minute pre-match entertainment show at Charlton Athletic’s match against Norwich City.washing line

Anne Longfield, Chief Executive of 4Children, said young people were perfect to design the advertisements because of their fantastic ideas, energy and enthusiasm.

“Young people are particularly in tune with fast paced and ever-changing communication channels. That’s why it makes perfect sense to ask them to help us create relevant and inspirational advertising materials for our campaign. I’m really looking forward to seeing the finished product.”
