Activities & Campaigns
Make Space undertakes vigorous media, lobbying and policy activities with the objective of achieving high level support for the campaign within government, in the media and across the political spectrum.
We have also undertaken a range of research projects looking at youth provision in this country, including a comprehensive Youth Review – its recommendations were fed into the Government’s ten year strategy for youth.
In addition, Make Space supports young people and those who work with them through a range of innovative activity programmes.
- The Make Space for Health programme, launched in July 2008, has been piloted around the country to develop a package of joined-up health support for young people. To read the recommendations of the Make Space for Health national policy report, launched at Westminster in July 2009: for the summary click here and for the full report click here.
- The Make Space Aiming Higher quality assurance programme is a practical tool to enable the highest quality integrated centres for young people aged 11-19.
